Thought I try to save a few dollars and try the Bosch cabin filters instead of Honda in the 2000 TL. The Bosch P3600 are not an exact fit.

The filters are about 2-3mm too long to fit in the plastic frames and will need trimming down with scissors/knife. It was a pain in the butt. The paper seems to be thin compared to Honda. It is questionable whether it was worth the few dollars saved.

 

were those the ones with microallergen sprayed on them?
my set of bosch fit fine, which reminds me- its time to replace again

 

I had the same issue with the Bosch AC Cabin Filters I bought too. I've used Wix Filters the last couple of changes and the fit and quality were very good.

 

How much did you save?

It costs $8.23 for an OEM filter. That's $18.46 for both filters, no hassle. How much cheaper could it get?

 

thats approx the same as most names at local parts stores- for a 2 pack - since we need 2
like you could replace 1 only

 

Dealer wanted $18x2 for the pair. Bosch was $18 for the pair.
