ebay them for the D2R for 6000k only. The more blue and deep purple, the more you cant see the road. You could get a cheap after martket on on ebay or get them from Philips.com

Im guessing your bulbs are worn out,, as many of us are experiencing
about 2000 hours lifespan on OE bulbs and they get dimmer and lose coloring
Stock color is 4300k
Many like to go a bit bluer with 5000k
6000k has even more blue but less white light on the road surface
Any higher and cops will look your way constantly, and you cant see much on the road
our vendor Excelerate has a special ziner deal on a Pair of Kaixen brand bulbs for about $110 shipped- see his thread in Off Topic- Sponsored Sales
Well respected brand- parent company is lighting research facilty

the TL uses special HID- not halogen - HID bulbs in the Low beams
the high beam uses a regular Halogen or Xenon filled bulb- a regular type car bulb
HID lights require a ballast- capacitor and ignitor boxes to work- similar to street lamp or parking lot lights

be careful on buying- you get what you pay for in lighting- want max lighting you can see with, and lifespan more than 6 months~
replacement should last 2500-3000 hours of use
Note- new bulbs take 50-100 hours to fully burn in, and do get brighter and more blue during that time.
Drive with the lights on all the time to get some hours of use right away

I and many ziners are running Kaixen- I am an 01 TL
Other brands are ok too, you have to research the technology of the bulbs to get the differance in makers and what parts are being used and where they are assembled
Unless you have driven with a certain brand- you cant say its really good or not,
just that it puts light in front of the car,,
ebay bulb users let us know in 2 years how they are holding up
the headlight discussion has been beaten to death - search and you shall find 1000 threads all saying the same thing

ALWAYS check the DIY section here for the TL mods before trusting youtube
Between us we have found most of the tricks for faster or easier parts replacement
You can remove stuff inside the engine compartment and work with funky angles while not being able to see
Or
you can pop the bumper cover off- remove the housing complete and work with it in your hand- seeing the special retainer arm that holds the bulb- see what direction the external electrode goes so the new one goes same way...

May i ask why you want blue? You cant see better with it. Dont go above 6k if you are determined to go blue, and personally i wouldnt go above 5k.

if your bulbs dont match color its usually the death warning
One will be pink when you turn it on- then stabilize
That means its time for bulbs, even another set of 4300 will appear more blue than what you have as they lose color and brightness with age

The higher you go in K the less useable light you have. K doesnt mean brighter. The Stock 4300 is the brightest you will get.
