i have a nos system made by NX, basic kit. using the 75hp shot nozzle. was pretty easy to install since i have a CAI and you make a hole in the rubber hose that the CAI connects to the throttle body. had the stereo shop that up in my alpine HU and custom box for my 2 - jl12wo woofers. made a box to cover the nos bottle to match the woofer box. actually several people have nos on their tl. there are other tl forums around besides this one.

i actually feel more from the obx headers i installed a few weeks ago and cost less.

Im running with ZEX 75hp shot. My baby drank a bottle already. I only had one scare with my tranny it was slipping the first night... it seemed to fix itself... I once gave a few 100hp shots to my 00 accordV6 coupe it seemed to like it. Then the lease was up

I think I'll just go for headers, my tranny is doomed as it is.

i wudnt bother getting NOS... if u really want to do some HP boost, why not go through all the other alternatives first...

supercharger (if there is one out yet), headers, exhaust, intake, mod chip... then if u really crave more power and u want to race for some $$$$, then go for the NOS, but id personally stay away from the nitrous injection... ur engine wont last long

I'm not aware of any "mod chip" that you can get to add more HP. You got a website link? There's a lot of scams out there that says you can add a chip, so we really gotta be careful.

Raced a guy last night in Ontario....

2003 CL- Type S Aegean Blue
Full custom body kit and vinyl graphics (hehe)
19' gunmetal rims
looked like zeal or tien suspension...
He had I/H/E and 80 shot wet....
Sticker across the car said SDSTREETRACING.COM

If your in here show facE!!!! lol

Man never seen a J series motor peel out in 2nd and 3rd !!!
Impressive!!! He smoked the **** out of a modded 2k2 Trans Am...

I asked him how his tranny was holding up...

He said it was fine.... Same with my friend in an AV6 with 80 shot.
He says his tranny is better becuase of NOS
:yack:

I would go 50 wet all day!!! Direct port.

Then just take it off before you sell the car. 80 shot is overdoing it... First 50k you should be fine, but eventually 8o shot is gonna fry your pistons.

Be responsible too. I dont understand that guy last night.
He had Graphics, bodykit, and was slammed to the floor like a pancake... To top it off he had NX express stickers all over his car... How da hell duz he still have his license?? hahaa

Is there anyone else that considers using NOS as cheating when you're racing?

if nitrous is cheating, any type of forced induction is, turbo, supercharger, its the same thing, just cheaper!

I believe that it is only cheating when you are dishonest...
If someone asks you " are you squeezing?" you should tell them the whole truth and nothing but the truth....

Just a question for those with nitrous in their TL's...are all you guys driving leased vehicles? Because if you are, then I'm going to think twice if I were to ever consider buying a car after coming up on lease!

forced induction is a lot more complicated than pushing a button

i dont buy cars that come off lease ever... after i saw what my friend did to his car while he had his car during the lease, id wonder what kind of drivers get behind the wheel of the off lease cars... buy new, or lease new, dont get off lease cars

If there's a warranty I don't see the harm... specially since they are certified. The only stuff I did to my car that beat on it was body damage to the front bumper because the car was so low... scraped the **** out of it.

Engine is solid
