Question Is this normal?

This is my second clear LED spoiler lens and I think its messed up... my first one got fogged up and the lights when on one side was brighter than the other (because the strip of LEDs are not on the same level). Apparently, the second one that I just got last week also has the LEDs NOT LEVELED, has anyone got this problem too? I got mines at www.spoiler.com...

Should I return it? They charge some stupid restocking fee plus I will be wasting shipping money...

i would insist on a return, if they give you a hard time dispute the charge on your credit card (assuming that is how you paid).

Do you have any other pics of the installation? I had emailed the people there for more details about install, but they never replied.

Its NOT an installation problem, that is how I got the part... obviously its defective because the stupid strip of LEDs are not aligned or straight like they should be.

Yup. Their product was DOA, so they owe you another one or a full refund.

is that a pic from the bottom of the lens? take a pic of it head-on... like if you were looking at it from the back.

hes not entitled to a full refund, hes entitled to a replacement. if he wants a replacement, they will send him one, but if he wants his money back, they WILL charge a restocking fee. I deal with this all the time. our company will gladly replace a defective product, but if you want a refund, your liable to the same return policy as everyone else.

clear lens

My clear LED spoiler light came the the same way (LED wave/unleveled) I just sucked it up and installed it anyway. Don't see any difference in illumination.

There is a difference in the illumination, one side seems brighter. By the way, I contacted the website and they are sending me a new one already. I think their products are old and that is why defects are popping out... they were pretty cool about it, all it took was an email, a pic of the crap they sent me, and some words of wisdom. I hope the next one is undefective though... or I WILL BE VERY PISSED OFF!
