Non-lowering suspension mods?

Okay - let me first admit that my knowledge with suspensions, engines, and almost anything to do with vehicles is based upon the 4x4 world, where it is very clear that the rules are different. I'm pretty well versed on solid beam axles and IFS, but don't know the Acura's systems too well at all.

Basically I'm looking at, a ways down the road, trying to provide some crisper handling - I don't want the car dipping as much in turns or lane changes - but I DO NOT want to lower it. Maybe its the offroader in me, but I will never be able to lower a vehicle I own. Now I know that ride height can be maintained and stiffer springs switched in to keep the vehicle from dipping and swaying (hell my D-90 is tighter now w/ its springs and NO sway bars than it was with the stock setup) - but that's on 4x4s.

So what are my options?

Also - any hardware useful for saving MPG? And would it be enough of a savings to make it worth my time?

I read on someones tread or post that they put Comptech sway-bar and it made a noticeable differenence in handling w/o compromising the ride quality.

Sway bars will not sacrifice your ride at all, but will keep the car from leaning in corners or changing lanes. Makes for very crisp handling.
Also, the Zeal coilovers sound like they would work for you. Very adjustable, ride comfort, and height... seperate from each other. But, $$$

Nice rides.

u should definitely get the comptech sways, and also the upper strut tie-bar. u can also change out the shocks to Koni's while keeping stock springs, so u can adjust the bounce in the car.

for gas mileage u can get the AEM CAI, it will definitely improve ur mileage (for me it did a couple of miles per galon), but it will also give u a nice growl at higher rpms and WOT. so make sure ur ok with the extra volume. but its up to u to decide if its worth the ~$200 for that.

and u can get all these parts from Tim, here or on www.autocarparts.com
