noisy brakes

about 2wks ago i installed new brake pads in my 2000 tl-p. (installed them myself) Since then every time i press the brake a loud squealing noise comes from them. I was told to take the pad of and sand them down as well as the rotors. I did that but the sound came back the next day.

If any one has any opinions on what to do plz let me know
Thnx

did you make sure to use the Molybdium antisquel compound on the back of the shims? And along the same line of questioning, did you reuse both sets of shims? Each pad has two shims behind them.
