replaced lower control arm, and sway bar end link. I was able to drive it to my other friends house where were going to remove the lower front crossbeam and bend it straight..... or atleast attempt to.

id worse comes to worse, ill have to buy the new crossbeam at 150 bucks. I can afford it now, but I would rather try to fix the existing one. since its still bent back, the torsion bar is pushed back and its causing the wheel to be pushed back which is completely fucking with the alignment. so after I try to bend it straight and im succesful, ill go get the alignment done.

I still need a fender, but that I can deal with later. I can roll fenderless for a while.

and since I put my brothers 3G rims on the back tires are rubbing so I have to roll those tabs in.

so that's my little update.....in case you guys were wondering how things were going.

I was actually. Careful with that bent steel, you know how it is. Seems to lose some strength sometimes.

Well just get the mechanics working for now. A few dents arent that big a deal if you are short on gas. As long as the car gets you from A to B.

Problem is if its not straight they will probably never get your alignment specs normal. If your radius rod is bent you should get a new one (or at least try to get a used one)

the radius rod, or what I've been calling the torsion link, is not bent. the only things that got bent were the lower control and the cross beam... oh and that little tow attachment underneath. the sway bar link snapped in half, and the rim snapped in half.

so if I can get it straight it should be fine, or at most id have to get a new crossbeam..... and alignment.

Well, not to be the downer, but I am glad you failed at that. I was a bit worried about the strength of it and your safety.
