so let me get this straight, there are 2 crank pulleys. one that is standard size & the other is undersize. i take it the undersize one gives you a little extra hp, but with you boys with the big ass power sucking amps it is not good because the alternator is not putting out the amount of juice as the standard pulley. i'm happy with my stock radio system, so would i be ok going with the undersize pulley. I'm a power monger! Also if i get the undersize pulley, will i have any problems getting replacement belts.

Excelerate should be on here still? Also, I cant believe you are happy with the stock Blows system!!! lol, it wasnt much better than the stock stereo in my Chevy trunk.

I have to agree with Seattle Dale. I think the stock system is fine. I think this must be an age thing as I am close to his posted age.
Settle Dale, the UR crank pulley is much ligher and slightly smaller. In addition to the crank pulley you will need two new belts. Alt & AC belt Gates KO6044; P/S Gates KO40425. Use these two when doing crank only.
For the Comptech Icebox, I replaced the Comptech foam filter with a K&N filter.
No real gain, I just prefer K&N.
I am looking for my next mod and thinking about doing the Outlaw Thermoblock spacers.

oh I agree that there isnt a need for a big ass stereo...even since I got mine in, I would be happy with less bass...but the stock system just didnt do it for me in overall sound. I mean the cheep ass paper speakers w/o any tweeter cant make quality sound - I love music, not just bass, that is why I have a nice expensive system - and it can rattle the windows if I want it too! the outlaw spacers do look like a good mod to me also!

Here is a link to some information on the thermoblock spaces. In the thread there is also a link to Outlaw Engineering. http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...4&page=1&pp=25
I have the Mugen cooling mods also. Here is a thread with more detail on this mod.
http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...gen+thermostat
I also have the bored out throttle body from King Motor Sports. Only downside is you send them your throttle body so your car is down about a week until you get it back.
http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...+throttle+body
I would go the UR crank pulley route before considering any of the mods above. The supercharger or turbo would be nice, but that is getting into more money than I want to spend on modding.

Only down side to the pulleys is that the belts that are suggested by UR are squeaky.

Once I had it tuned it was fine. Although I didn't keep it long because I bought a supercharger.

Unless you can find them used on the forum that's about the best price i've seen for a new crank pulley. These pieces are high quality.

yeah i noticed that as well on the website. the guy did sai "$185 + shipping" so maybe with shipping it will bring it up to $195 (kinda confusing). I am a engineer, and when I am not travelling for work i work from home which is when I get most of my car stuff done. I am gonna have this done professionally

No, i understood you. I am just trying to think of how to "sneak" that much money out of the bank account, total would be around $300 (part and install)

There was a guy on the CL forum "DeansblackCLS" who usually gave pretty good deals on the pullies, you may want to drop him a note.
