AND THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE MULTIPLE TrANNY CLUB IS. . .
. . .me. I think I will be joining the ranks of broken-transmission TL users.
Made an appointment with Smithtown Acura and they didn't bat an eye regarding the transmission failing--they've probably seen their share. It just started slipping at low speed up a slight grade with little forward movement before it "caught." It is presently infrequent and I hope I get to the ninth of September when it will be seen by the Acura techs.
Well it made it to 15000 miles at least. . .as Forrest Gump said, "It happens."

Welcome to the club
Sept. 9th, that's a long wait. I can drive to my dealer and drop it off anytime. Anyway I have filed a report with my state Consumer Affairs division and consulted with my lawyer. 4 transmission is 3 transmissions too many for me. Either they replace my vehicle or buy it back. I have had enough. Good and my advise is not to wait, trust if it's slipping now. You want make it to your appointment. Be careful driving it.
