Cool Newest member of the H&R Club

Well - I have gone and done it.

After many searches on this and AW forum I finally went and got my H&R Stage 2 (Sport) springs put on. I must say that the ride is excellent. The drop is PERFECT. It looks and feels like a REAL sports sedan.

Thanks you guys for the previous posts and opinions.

hey

I just got the H&R sport springs to and i think there great. Ride is still comfortable and handeling has been improved. I think it was a good investment. Only problem now is finding a place to get the darn thing aligned.

Hi,

Did you replace the shocks as well or did you just install the springs?

Thanks,

MikeC

MikeC -

Ijust installed the springs. I just purchased my TL-S just 3 months ago. I figure I can wear away at the stock shocks until I can get new shocks. The Honda Master Mechanic that installed the springs says that I can last as long as 50K on the stockers. By then, lease is up and on to a BMW.

Welcome to the H&R club..I have had them on my car for 4 months, and I can't be happier. You won't be disappointed.

2k3_ABP3.2TLS: Thanks for your reply.. There is another member of this board who said you can go 40K on stock shocks with aftermarket springs. Hearing it from two perspectives have help me to decide to install the aftermarket springs w/o replacing the shocks as well.

Yes, everything you've heard is true!! You should not have to replace the stock shocks for a while.....
