newer Tl switchblade remote question

If I buy this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007-...mZ310075085170

Is it possible to have the blade cut? or is it a different blade? I'm just wondering if it is thicker. Yes, I know about the immobilizer chip, I'm just wondering if I did buy it and have the key cut, would it open the doors?

thanks

yeah, the remote wont work. One you have to get the immobilizer chip out of the original and put into the new remote. And the remote cant get programmed. I'm just wondering if the key can get cut to fit. thanks
