Question Newbie From Scarborough

I am a new dude on this site. This site is really phat. I have 215 45 Michelin Pilot Sports on 18 inch chrome and I want to get my pride and joy lowered. I know the eibach prokit lowers it approx. 1.5 inches and I am wondering if I need a camber kit to make sure my wheels don't wear too quickly, the pilot sports are $$$$$. Also will the wheels rub when I lower the car? Respect.

Good but $$$ tires - I got 'em too, 225/45zr18! If you go with Comptech springs (1.5" drop) the suspensions stays w/i specs and you won't need a camber kit. But Comptech makes a correction kit if you want to go lower than 1.5". Get your TL parts at www.Acura-TL.com. Welcome to the board - what year is your TL? Pics?

Thanks for the info. I have been to a few car shops and they only mentioned Eibach, H&R's and Neuspeed springs. I notice that a lot of people on this site have Comptech springs. When this snow melts I will take some pics and post them. TL's are all over the place in my city but none of them are done up. I get lots of looks with my rims on, in my area luxury sport sedans are just starting to be modified.

Welcome to the board! Comptechs can be had for a great price from Snook, our kind host on this board. Just click comptech on the left border and you'll get to his TL parts site. Happy motoring!

Welcome. I am a newbie from TO as well. Maybe OT, but it seems there are lots of people from TO on this board. Anybody know how many? We should have a meet sometime.
