Question Newbie question about prices

Hi everyone. Let me start of by saying that this is an awesome site. Have been a visitor for the past 2 month, while getting ready to buy my own TL. My question is this: In New York or Jersey what should I expect to pay for a '02 TL. Also, what are some good dealerships around here, and how can I haggle with them the right way. As you can see by these questions, I have never bought a new car before, even though I am currently leasing an Accord for $150 a month (lucky deal). But the lease is almost up, and I want to buy a TL. So I would really appreciate any comments or suggestions that anyone might have, and thank you all in advance.

In ABQ and El Paso we're paying sticker, $29,999 with about $150 in dealer BS fees. Fly out and drive back! My salesperson in El Paso gets business from all over the US - probably because the drive home is wonderful.

At least in Northern NJ, the best dealership I've dealt with is Park Avenue Acura. The prices were competitive and their service (from what I've heard, but with no actual experience as yet) is terrific. Good luck!

Definitely check out Park Ave Acura in Maywood, NJ. Their service is #1 and their prices are very competitive.
BTW, are you getting navi or non-navi?
As with any new purchase, shop around and compare all their prices to see which one is the cheapest. Good luck.

Thumbs up

Im getting it with Navi since I want to install the DVD player later. Thinking of going with Antarcite with Ebony interior and spoiler and a gold emblem and grill package. How the dealers usually are when it comes to giving price breaks on spoilers and stuff? I heard they are pretty stingy. Thanks for all your advice guys.

Peep park ave. i know their service department is great but not sure about their sales dpmt.
Give them a shot.
Get your price from www.edmund.com and tell em exactly what u wanna pay (kit, spoiler, etc) including tax.
If you get the car, get teh sways and springs while u r at it...
