Newbie to board and New Owner Questions

Hello Everyone,

I just bought my first Acura last Monday and I am brand new to the board here. I had three questions and hoping you fellow Type S-ers can help me out.

1. Price: I paid $28,200 for a 2003 Type S with Navi and Onstar. The car had only 5500 miles on it and I bought it from Acura and it's certified pre-owned. Based on it's suggested book price, I got away with a hella deal. Also, since here in MN the tags stay with the car, I don't even pay for new tags until Feb 04. The onstar contract is still good until March 04 also.

2. HID lights: I notice as I drive at night and hit really sharp bumps,/road joints, that it looks as if the lights on the road somewhat "flickers" as I hit the bump. Kind of like when you install aftermarket fog lights and you don't tighten them enough and you get that vibration and you can see the lights "shake". It's not terribly bad, just noticable every once in a while. Is this normal for HID's, or could their be something loose on my front end. I know the lights have a very distinct cut-off pattern and you can see the cutoff line go up and down on cars in front of you, but this shaking of light is the entire light pattern. I had this car looked at very closely and no evidence of front end damage. I turned off the fogs and it still kind of does it.

3. I'm really diggin that OEM body kit. I heard back in the day that some dealers offered them at clearance prices? Where would be the best place to buy one? Are some dealers still doing this blowout sale?

2nd the headlight assembly may be some what loose cause the lights shouldnt shake when you hit bumps. bring it in to the dealer its a warranty issue.

Thanks, as far as the headlight "shaking", I think it's the fogs that are actually vibrating. I grabbed below the left fog light on the underside of the front bumper and yanked on the bumper and it feels kinda loose. But my Honda Accord seems to do the same thing, so I dunno. Never had HID's or factory fogs on a car so not sure. Well, it's under warranty so might as well take it over there and see what's up.
