NEWB needing help
What's up guys, I have been a lurker in this forum for the past year or so and finally made up my mind to get a new car. I am currently driving an accord and would like to buy a second generation TL because of its looks and my familiarity with the performance honda is known for. I was hoping to get some feedback on owners on how their TL's have been performing and some tips on buying a used TL as I am first time buyer.
1. Is there a way I can find out which VIN numbers have a problem with the transmission.
2. Because I am buying a used TL it might not cover problems that may come up down the road. How much would it be to replace the transmission if this problem occurs.
Once again thanks for the help guys and I am hoping to join you happy TL owners.

But in Short there isnt a way to find out Which VIN #s have the problem, they all do. They are warrantied to 100k, you dont have to be the first owner, it applies to all owners. Hopefully the new upgraded parts solve the issue
