I have a '02 TL-P with the AEM V2 CAI as my only mod. I was thinking about getting headers, but I was thinking that maybe I should get new wheels before I do any other power-related mods. I'm currently running the stock 16" rims w/ stock Michelins. I always chirp my tires when accelerating, and they whistle loudly when I take windy roads at high speeds. I was thinking that there's no point in adding more power to the car if I don't have the tires to handle it... anyone have any input on this?

 

You difinitely need 18s. I would consider type s wheels or bbs. There are some others but they can be pricey.

 

definitely get new wheels and tires. 225/45/18's with at least a +45offset. +50 is ideal.
Get a good all season tire if you don't plan on swapping your wheels in the summer and winter.
