Hey everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member of this community and a proud owner of a 2002 TL S.

I've had the car for 3 weeks now and its a nice change from the 99 300m I had.

Car was purchased with Comptech Headers/Exhaust/Sway Bars/Intake, OEM Body kit, H&R Sport Springs and a few other goodies.

I look forward to receiving and contributing helpful advice from this forum in the future.

Now, one quick almost stupid question. I disconnected the battery the other day and I noticed the Navi & Radio both asked for codes. The navi code worked w/no problem. However, when i inputed the radio code I kept getting an error read-out. Any ideas why? I'm sure I've entered the code correctly but I still havent had any luck and I cant continue driving around w/o music.

Also, any ideas where I can pick up the Intake cleaner in NYC. The filter looks pretty nasty.

The HU might have been switched out by the dealer if something was wrong with it. So the code you have might not be for that HU. You will need to go to the dealer they might be able to get you the right code.

 

u can order K&N Regarger kit, 99-5000 from anywhere, or any nice car store... where in NYC do u live?

Sometimes its just bettah to get a new filter

I'm in Queens but havent had the chance to check out some of the local shops but if you have a reliable website that I can order from I would do that.
