new TL-S owner in Toronto
Hey,
Just purchased an '02 3.2 TL Type-S in white diamond pearl last night. Traded-in my prelude
.
I'm located in Toronto, and I'd love to come out to any meets if there are any!

I already test-drove the '04 TL, and the '02 TL-S seems quicker for some reason. Is the new TL heavier? Can't really feel the 10hp difference with my butt-dyno :o
I like the sport suspension of the TL-S more than the regular suspension of the new TL...personal preference...
By the way, can anyone please tell me what are the exact engine differences between a regular TL and a TL-S? What changes did they make to result in a 35hp difference?

i don't see it all the time, but when i see it, it's usually parked on the street...sometimes on the driveway...
so i'm not sure if it belongs to someone in that house...

I would say the new TL doesn't feel as powerful due to the diff in torque curve. Thats my guess, the TL-S has peak torque from 3500-5500rpm where the '04 TL peaks at over 5000rpm.

Welcome aboard! Not that many ppl mod TL around GTA. If you see a modded TL, chances are they float around here.
Too bad I just put my stock wheels back on for winter today. Wanted to install the AEM CAI, but my racket set is missing
