New TL Owner

Hello All,
Just wanted to introduce myself.
I'm Chris. I've been reading this website for a while now and it seems like there's a lot of good info on here. I'm glad to see there are so many people willing to help others. I just picked up a used 2002 TL Type-S with 39,000 miles on it for 18K. I Hope I got a good deal? - feel free to advise me if I got ripped. It still has the original tranny in it and is completely untouched. Not even a door ding. I'm surpised the orig tranny is still there, however, It is solid as a rock on shifts and runs like a scared rabbit. I have the typical rattles from various places throughout the interior including the sunroof. The engine is smooth, Howevever there is a little ever so slight clack noise (almost like a valve clack) except its not there at higher RPM's only at idle. Is this normal? I'm interested in getting a little more kick out of the car so I have an Icebox on order, should be here friday. I'm going to install it first. Did anyone have problems installing it themselves or have any tips? I live with numerous oak trees so I have an acura car cover, but I'm worried about scratching the paint during install/removal - tips? Only other problem I have come across is my old CD-R's wont play in the stereo...However any CD-R's I burn now at a slower speed of 40X or below will play, but 48X wont play. I thought thats a little odd and frustrating since I want my older cd's to work. I guess thats all for now. Feel free to comment.
Glad to be a TL-S owner.

Not unless you have an mp3 player in your car...

Had the same problem. Fujifilm cdr's all have worked for me. I also riped my old cd's using CDex and burned them on the fuji's.

No one has commented on it, but $18k seems to be a smoking deal to me on the car........
