New Springs for my TL?
My 2000 TL is riding rough and hard. With 150,000 miles on it, this is probably to be expected. The dealer recomended new struts all around. My local Honda specialist said that I more likely need new springs and not struts. Do I need springs and struts or just one or the other.

i am NOT a expert, everything i learned was because of this forum.
i say new shocks/struts all around. springs wont brake on you and should last forever.
my unexpert advice.

I'm going to think shock/struts, springs aren't supposed to stop working, they will settle over time but not stop working. Just get coilovers and your set!

springs do wear out. its just hard to notice after you've driven on the same set for 100K miles or so. if you only replace the struts then you'll notice excess clearance in the wheelwell because the springs have lost their stiffness.
