Help me

I have a 2002 tl-s and my engine was making a loud noice on idel. I took it to the dealer and they told me a clip or something in my resonator box was broken or something and my warranty does not cover it. Anyways, he told me it would cost about 500 dollars. Instead of replacing with OEM part, I want to replace my intake completely for like less that $300.00 or so. I try to look on the internet but could not really find anything. And this question probably been asked here many times, but can somebody help me with a GOOD intake system that will not hurt my car.

I would go with Comp Tech ice box. It may be $250-270. You can try Ebay for used or Get it from dean at Velocity Resources.

If you want to keep a sound that's close to stock, get an Icebox. I had an Injen intake for a while, but it was just a bit too loud during WOT for my taste.

If you want, I'll sell you my old Injen intake. It's polished aluminum/red and only has about 7000 miles on it.

Comptech is very similar to stock. AEM and Injen are similar to stock at low rpm but loud above 5k...

I have the AEM and love the sound and look of it....

How's $100 plus shipping? It has all of the hardware you'll need to get it hooked up. The filter's got about 7000 miles - so you might want to clean & reoil it. However, it's not supposed to be necessary to clean those oil/gauze filters until at least 30k miles.
