New Shocks or Struts?

New Shocks or Struts?
I have 75k miles on my 03 Acura TL. I got 4 new yokohama TRZ tires and I am happy with my purchase. My next project is to replace my stock shocks with tokico blue shocks. I'm doing this to hopefully eliminate a little bit of the bounce from the old stock shocks. What I wanted to know is should I just replace my stock shocks with tokico blues or should I get new struts? The guy at the tire place was saying maybe it would be a good idea to get new struts. Was he just trying to upsale me by trying to get me to spend $500 for new struts, or is it better to get new struts instead of just getting new tokico blue shocks? Thanks for your input.

So replacing the stock shocks will tokico blues will work? I just wasn't sure of the difference between the two. The tokico blues are about 250 bucks, the guy who replaces my tires said it would be about 500 bucks to get new struts, I guess he was just trying to make a buck. So I'm looking at about $250 plus the cost of installation, right?
