Thumbs up new rotors are smoooove

installed my brembo blank rotors on front and satisfied PRO ceramic pads front and back on saturday. they have about the same pedal feel, good stopping power, and SILENT stopping. Very easy install thanks to that DIY in adobe that someone posted (sorry dude, cant remember name).
Only problem I had was I added old shims to the back of the already present shims that were mounted to the pads already! I had 3 shims on the front pads at one point: the attached one, the one from old pad, and the outside one the caliper pushes on (blue arrow in DIY) . had to go back and take em out. This delayed my time to just over 3 hrs for everything.

left the rear rotors on since they were still fine, only replaced the pads.
shake free stopping feels like luxury again.

do me a favor, can you post that link of the DIY. We should make a section on the forum for all DIYs...

I just put them on saturday so its a bit early for longevity but 1st impressions left me feeling very comfortable with my decision. I based the pads off what folks were saying on this site, and that is these pads are quiet. I did not want any squeal like others were complaining about with slotted and ebc and a bunch of others. that said I also dont drive hard or fast very often so I didnt go with the aggressive options.
I got them from AJUSA, yes it took like 2 weeks b/c of order screwups and stocking issues, but I wasnt in a hurry either..92 bucks a pair is worth the wait for me.
So..yes I recommend this set up....coulda said that much faster I guess!
