New Project??

So i was thinking. (yea when that happens my wallet gets lighter)

So i was thinking, as soon as i get teh 6 speed done, i was thinking of doing a front end conversion, but not the typical conversion.

this one with the ronjon lip

but with a grill like this one

Any thoughts??

Right, because a 2G 6MT isn't different enough.

I think it would look good. Since we're spending your money, I would get the RJ wheels as well - that would take it into the realm of great.

The front end of the Ronjon kit doesn't photograph well, to see it in person is a different story. Kris I wonder how much of a pain in the culito ( ass ) that will be. Are you gonna get a front clip or just order fenders and things?

you can also swap out the front end for the '02-'03 TL front end and custom mold the ronjon CL lip.

Isn't there a better looking front lip for the CLs other than the RJ one?

I believe I know what the rear end will be. I'll keep it to myself for now as to not spoil the element of surprise!

I think it's a great idea, Kris....and I think the angles of the RonJon will complement your custom spoiler....are you going to keep that on with the rear conversion as well?...or will there be a version2 spoiler ?....lol

You're the man Kris. That sounds like a sick idea. This has got to be one the most one-off TL ever. I mean with the type s motor swap, the 6 speed cl-s trans, the custom wing, and now this. Can't wait to see how it comes along. Keep up with the great ideas and good luck with the projects!

Damn, that'd be some shit. You're on a roll, Kris.

I've liked the front end of the CL, too. It would be a pretty sweet conversion. Shouldn't be any harder than a UA4->UA5 conversion.

Hey fsttyms1 ... it's only time and money, right? And we know you have the patience and the determination to get it done. Very curious to see how your project car will turn out.
