Hey everone,

I just recently bought my 2003 SSM TLS (no nav) less than a month ago. I've been browsing the site now for a few weeks and noticed a few people asking about prices.

I bought mine for $29,600 (which is right at invoice price) from Keyes Acura in LA (SF Valley, to be specific). They also offered me more than a $1,000 more for my trade-in than another Acura dealer. They were very cordial. That's also where I bought my wife's MDX a year ago.

As for the car, I've been inspired by the mods discussed on the site. So far, I've only changed the grill slightly & installed my own spoiler from sportwing.com (the install was a piece of cake & it looks exactly like the OEM spoiler w/LED).

As for me, I'm a 31 year old Bankruptcy attorney (yes, business is booming right now). Hopefully none of you need my help, but if you do, I'll take care of you. Take care & thanks for all the great input on some of the posts.

 

are you planning to further modify you car? springs, lights?

 

Definitely. I'm planning to mod the lights. I'm also planning to do a few other things in the interior, i.e., change the window controls to auto (I know someone who purchased more auto up/down switches from Acura & changed it himself. I also may add a digital compass.

I'm not planning on messing with the engine, aside from a cold air intake. How much HP does a new exhaust add? I'm probably not going to change the wheels or springs though.
