Hey, I have been looking around here for a short while now and I am planning on buying either a 02 Cl Type-S or a 02 TL Type-S. I have driven both vehicles(I am a valet at the Ritz-Carlton). I like both of them I can obviosly get the CL cheapier but what about insurance? Is the tl cheapier or is it about the same. I am going to get a Type-S with the rear spoiler and oem body kit from the factory, also the 7 year/100K waranty. Thanks in advance.
I am waiting until Dec or Jan to buy. I need to save my money because I don't want a $500 a month car payment

 

From a general survey of my coworkers, all things being equal, two door cars seem to have higher insurance rates than four doors (e.g. Civic 2-dr vs. Civic 4-dr).

 

Call up your INS company for a free quote...who better to ask. I did it online, it was easy as 123. I personally think the TL will be cheaper being that its a sedan rather than a coupe.
