New Gauge Cluster

All right guys well I had to buy a new gauge cluster because my stock gauges were becoming very sticky almost and sometimes would not go down all the way once I shut the car off. I bought a new gauge cluster off of ebay. The new gauge cluster said it reads anywhere from 90,000-100,000. I have 170,000 on my car now. Still going strong! But how can I correct this, if there is even a way? Should I just keep my records and when I sell the car someday let the people know? What should I do?

had this happen to my 95 accord, gauge cluster shit the bed.. I did however get a used cluster to replace it. I had the garage document what the cluster had on it when replaced, what the new one had on it installed, plus pictures.. Trust me do it the right way if you ever plan on getting rid of the car..

K thats what I'll do then. I have not taken out the stoke gauge cluster yet so before I do I will take pictures of the old one. Then put the new one in and take pictures. Good advice. Thanks man

Keep your cluster in. Take the gages out of the new and place them in yours. Its a simple 2 or 3 metal tabs on the back and they slide out in one big unit. That way you get to keep your odometer.
