New gauge cluster= New milage??
Owned a 01 Tl-p, the type S gauge cluster (white background) looks much better than the black background one, wanna do a swap on it..
Do a search knowing that the redline will be a problem, but wandering another...
Does the odometer led display shows the original milage or the milage on the new gauge cluster?? If so, why not just buy a low milage gauge cluster and put it on for getting a better price when selling the car??

you DONT need to replace the WHOLE cluster. you can replace the gauge covers themselves.
the TCS light wont work due to it being in a different place
and to your last question because its a Felony to do so

if you replace the entire cluster then you need to go through the DMV to have your title altered to show the reflected odometer mileage. but yes, save yourself the trouble and just replace the gauge faces themselves. make sure you post pics!
