Post New front pads\rotors under warranty

I dropped off my car this morning at Herb Connolly Acura in Framingham for the sunroof fix and the brake vibration. They just called me to say that they replaced the front pads and replaced the front rotors. They didn't do anything to the rear brakes. I figured they were just going to turn the rotors and hopefully replace the pads. So, I am pretty psyched. We'll see how the brakes feel when I pick it up this afternoon.
Just wanted to let everyone know who has the worped rotor problem. I'll update the post after I pick up the car to let everyone know how they feel.

Seth

I know this is a dumb question, but is it free to get the new brake pads/rotors if we have the vibration problem?

If you're car is still under warranty, then it is no cost to you to have the problem fixed by the dealer.

ok one more question...do we just have to tell them about the vibration or do we have to actually demonstrate it. And also, do all of the dealerships know about this problem? I dont want to go to my dealership and claim this and then they reply that they have no knowledge about it. Thanks a bunch.

When I made the appointment for service, I told them I was getting a lot of vibration in the brake pedal and the steering wheel when I hit the brake, and it was especially bad at highway speeds. I did not have to take them for a test drive to demonstrate it. I am pretty sure it's a well known problem with 99-01 TL's. Good Luck! Also, I got my car back tonight and it's AWESOME!
It's so nice to be able to hit the brakes and not have the wheel vibrating from left to right. I am definitely more confident in the braking ability of the car. I confirmed that they did replace the pads and the rotors! Anyone with brake vibration should bring there car to the dealer and have them do this service. A 30K car should not vibrate when you press the brake!
