New Filter or Intake?
New Filter or Intake?
I know K&N claims its filters can give the same amount of horsepower as a more costly intake...but is that really true?
Would a K&N filter really be a formidable replacement for an intake? Do you get the same power gains?

I think the icebox and CAI give the nearly the same amount of power, but the CAI is supposed to perform better at higher revs while the ice box is supposed to do better at lower revs...i think ill go with the CAI b/c it'll look cooler and i think its supposed to sound louder too...higher rev power helps on the Angeles Crest Highway
Actually now im torn again b/c i hear the icebox is supposed to give best all around performance and easier to maintain, but the CAI is supposed to provide the most power + that sweet sound
