Here is the engine pic from ALFAV6's car. As you can see he is like my evil twin. We are totally opposite from each other. He has a red CAI, red engine cover and a black strutbar.




I have a blue CAI, blue engine cover and a chrome strutbar.

where did you get the battery and engine covers in colours?

 

its just engine paint... we painted the whole cover...

 

Those look great! How long did you have to let the engine paint sit? Are you concerned at all about the paint possibly peeling?

 

It is recommended to let the paint dry at least 2 hrs. What I did was that I was driving without the cover for a while going back and forth from the autostore to get enough paint, I put the cover on and let the heat from the engine dry the paint more quicker. It has been 4 days and no peeling at all. I strongly believe they won't peel since the paint is high temp able to resist up to 1200 degrees.

 

looks AWESOME!!! i just dont want to take the risk of gettin the paint peeling, maybe i'll do it when the car gets a lil older
