Neuspeed Vs H&r

I went to my local shop looking for some H&R springs, and they didn't have any in stock for the TL. He starts looking at the NEUSPEED boxes, and tells me they're EXACTLY the same. I told him I was looking specifically for H&R's, and he pretty much thought I was being stupid for not believing him. Anyways, the few posts I could finds say that the NEUSPEED springs are harsher than H&R's. If there are indeed just a couple major spring manufacturers that provide springs to these companies, and H&R and NEUSPEED are the same springs just rebadged, then why the difference in reports?

So, are they the same or not?

Well, after some more research, it seems that H&R used to make the springs for Neuspeed, but stopped sometime in the late 90's. Anyone know more about this? Should I insist on the H&R's? I can get them to order it for me. BTW $130

I got a set of Neuspeed Race Springs (2.2" drop) for a great price ($70), but after doing a little more research and finding out more about them, I decided not to install them. I then went out and paid $125 for a set of H&R Sport Springs (1.5" drop), which I've only heard good things about. From what I read, the Neuspeed springs are pretty harsh and they become bouncy after awhile. That was more than enough to deter me from Neuspeed and go with H&R's.

I believe their spring rate is different, did he try to offer you the soft sport or sport version? Friend of mine have sport version on his accordv6 and it looks really good but it ride like sh*t.
