Need some spoiler help!
Okay - I've got a 2000 TL-P that didn't come from the factory with a spoiler. The previous owner butchered a spoiler on to it - something from another car of some kind. NOT a factory one, and not one that looks like it was even made for the car. The angle on it is all wrong. Looks like ass.
And, they mangled the trunklid putting it on, and used sheetmetal screws fastening it. Which cracked the plastic of the spoiler, making it rattle badly.
I need this thing off of my car.
So, can any of you tell me how a factory TL spoiler attaches? Adhesive or screws? I've got four sizeable holes in the trunklid, and need to either re-use them or cover them up with a new spoiler.

Open the trunk lid and look towards the edge on the bottom side (near where it would sit on the rubber seal). you will see 2 dimples on each side, holes get drilled where the dimples are on each side.

can you tell me how wide the base of the spoiler is - the part that actually rests on the trunk surface?
thanks for the help.
