need opinions on what to do with shift plate.

Should i chrome it or paint it ssm(same as my car)

hmmm,that's what i was thinking. Does anyone have any pics of a painted shift plate?

I did this for another member, its the only close up i have of it. The shift plate is the same color as the wood side pieces (anthracite)
