i got a free 99 NBP tl hood fromt he junkyard, same color/year as mine..i wanted to kno wut u guys think about this
i would like to put a small hoodscoop on my tl, nothing huge like on civics or mustangs, just something sutle to make it a little more aggressive.
what do u guys think?

 

ummm... it wud be different to see but i wudnt do it to my car. i dont think the TL really has the character to rock such a look

 

well i cant ever remember seeing ahood scoop on a 4 door...and if i have..i cant remmeber liking it...if your set on this tho..i think maybe louvers would be alittle better...or maybe something along the lines of a duct...like a larger version of the one on the fron t of a viper....but sculpted to match the lines of the TL..maybe somthing like that

 

mayb try wrapping it in carbon fiber vinyl and rock out a carbon fiber hood.

 

I don' t really think that a hood scoop could ever be subtle.
Less is more.

 

sure it can..you can get a nice small and sleek scoop that will flow with the tl's body styling..ill try and get a website that has a pic of it and ill post it up

 

make the lines that are already on the hood bigger, i think that would be nice!
