need opinions?
i'm thinking about doing this: what do you guys think? i want to swap out my 99 tl driver's seat for a CL-S type bucket seat! they wrap you up soooo nice and tight! ( parchment ) do you think just the one seat being different would look funky, or what if i replaced both front seats? i am the only one who really needs the seat being the driver, and it's not cheap! so i would rather just do the one seat...so: one seat, yes? or no? and what you think of the idea? i spoke to my peeps, & it can be done mechanically speaking. thanks, kman. should i have done a poll?

Sounds like an interesting idea...but I think for looks, you should change both. I see your point in that you only need one for the driver's seat, but IMO it won't look right if you have 2 different front seats. I didn't know they made Type-S with Parchment interior...learn something new everyday.

I think you should just leave it!!!
If you want to replace the seat, go ahead and replace all front & back. You want to have perforated leather seat on the front and leave regular leather seat on the back??
What about money?? Those will cost you lots of $$'s because of side airbags. You're not even sure if those will fit because of side air bag harness.

just looking for you ideas?
i agree about the match leather. already checked with acura, the seat can be put in! it's just me in the car 95 % of the time! who would even know? the problem is , my car drives more like a sports car now, than a luxury sedan. i feel like i'm not locked down well enough! you get that ass slippage in those tight tiurns at 60mph! kman

first thing you gotta do is find a wrecked one, cl-s!
and that the seat is fine, that reduces the cost dramatically. other wise you are looking at $1,500- $2,000. now is that worth the tight feel and comfort? think about it? what would give you more pleasure? hell, guys spend $5,000 on rims and tires! stereo's engine mods. what about comfort? i think that would be money well spent , instead of buying bling bling rims and tires. plus my back could use the extra support too, besides the wrap ! the lumbar adjusment in the TL is weak! kman. actually , that would be pretty unique! special race inspired driver bucket! where's bigman and his photo shop? i bet he could show us how it might look?
