After long consideration, I'm leaning towards 18" instead of 17" wheels (especially after seeing snooks ride) I really want C2's but here too rich for my blood, Anything else out there in 18" has a 40 to 45 offset. With the comptech suspension what is the lowest offset I can go without mods to the fenders. And before you ask, yes I have rear seat passengers regularly. I hope too pick up info at HIN's but any info here would help me.

18" 40-45 offset?! I doubt that will fit without touching your fenders. Even a car isn't lowered with a set of 42 offset requires minor mod on fender. 18" and lowered I think it's more safe if you can get 50 offset, 48 at least. Just my opinion.
