My front windshield is cracked, it can't be repaired and it will need to be replaced.
Insurance will cover it, less the deductible.
Are there any pros or cons to getting a Acura windshield (it actually says Honda on it),or should I let the glass shop replace with whatever type they use?

I would be hesitant to replace with anything but factory glass. With the rake of the windshield and potential for distortion, I would not want to chance it. I had my windshield repaired, trying to avoid a replacement only as a last resort. Good luck
