I hope some forum members can help me with this. As it says, looking for a good & not a rip off expensive mechanic in nyc area for my TL-S. I had a mechanic that my family had been going to for about 10+years but he decided to move and retire so now Im looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

I have 4 acura's/lexus' in the family and if he does the work good, all my business would go to this mechanic

Also a friend of mine has 2 tl's from 1999 & 2000, with about 120+k and both in need of transmissions...so would also like to know if someone has a good/inexpensive mechanic for that.
