need a little help with a suspension question
Ok, i am going nuts. yesterday i changed out the rear struts with original acura parts. all the parts are new , the struts, the rubber, the dust cover, the top hats, everything. I expected to get in my car and hear silence on my first ride. I am still a getting a deep rumbling sound from the back end whenever i hit a bump?not a metal clanking or anything loose kind of sound. what next??
Is your exhaust a possibility? Have you replaced that? Is it touching heat shields? What other mods/things have you done to your car?
It could also be your bearings. Get on an empty road and "slalom" left and right and see if the volume of it changes as you do this.
Any more clues you could give would be helpful.

no nothing in the trunk. but bushings might be a good start! 140,000 miles on the car and all original bushings. endlinks seemed very tight, while i was in there doing the shocks yesterday i took my wrenches to everything i saw and gave it a good tightening. Bushings are everywhere back there, whats a good starting point, lower control arm? what about that ball joint on the upper arm too maybe huh?
Thanks again!!!
Thanks again!!!
