Question Need ideas on where to mount my Clifford alarm LED

I am having fogs put in, and I needed to move the alarm LED and valet switch from the blank where the fog switch goes. Moved the valet switch but now...

I need to find a cool place to mount my alarm LED. Thought about wiring it into the factory alarm LED, but I really want people to know I have an alarm, and I figure that wouldn't do it.

I thought mayve putting it behind the clear plastic cover that goes over the map lights.

Or maybe behind the rear view mirror. There appears to be a hole to put it in.

Anyone....

I have a Viper alarm, and I opted instead of using the small alarm LED, I got a DEI scanner that I put at the corner of the windshield on the drivers side. It has the red light that flashes from left to right (kinda like Knight Rider), and it is very bright and can be seen from any side of the car. I really like it for two reasons, one is that you don't have to drill a hole like you do for the regular LED, and because it is much more noticeable than your standard alarm LED light, IMO.

put it on the rear view like the bmws.

thats where i mounted it on my toyota. only downside...people will notice it, so if you forget to arm your car, the whole block will notice and know when to break in. someone pointed that out to me a while ago

I had a Clifford 900IQ in my Integra and mounted the LED about 2" up from the base of the plastic trim on the driver's side A-pillar. Not a terribly "cool" place for it, but I could see it readily... to make sure I entered the right BlackJax code

That's ok. My car ALWAYS sleeps in the garage.

Behind the mirror is a good spot. Or maybe way up on the center dash near the windwhield? And those "chasing" LEDs are pretty cool? Where did you put your valet switch? (mine's on the small blank next to the dash dimmer).
I had 2 super-bright Varad blue LEDs put in the plastic triangles inside of the mirrors when my Clifford was installed. It's pretty easy and you could do something like that? Check it out!

Yeah TL Daddy, that's what I'm gonna do. Thanks, I knew somebody did something cool with the LEDs.

We gotta add this to the list of cool "How to" things like the LED Jake did. Once you get some instructions that is..

Even just replacing or adding LEDs to the wiring would be a nice help.

BTW, my valet switch is in the same place as yours.

Where did they mount your motion sensor, the square thing that says Clifford?

Mine is underneath the trip reset buttons.
