Question need help on wattage of bulbs

i am looking into changing my fog light bulbs for my '96. looking at descriptions for various types of bulbs, i see that i have a variety of watts to select from. standard fog light wattage on my car is 55w. can i choose a higher wattage like 85w or 90w without changing anything like the wiring harness? or do i have to stick with 55w?

also, some bulbs say 55=85w and 85=130w and etc...what does this mean? if it means that it has the output like a 85w and 130w respectively, can i put these in my car without frying the system?
