I'm sure this topic was addressed in the past but couldn't really find what i'm looking for in the search.

Got a bubble yesterday in one of my stock tires and was thinking it's time to change all four of them.

What's the biggest tire size you guys best recommend I go for my 99 Tl with 16" stock rims?

I saw on tirerack.com that Kumho's were only $45. Is there a reason the price is so low, any opinions?

what is your stock tire size? do you know how wide your rim is?

 

rim size is 16x6.6 and the tire size is 205/60

I would say go ith 225 55 r16. If your rim is 6.5 inches wide then you'll be fine.

 

I have 215/55 on stock rims right now, they fit fine. I'm pretty sure 225/55 will fit as well, Ill probably move up to that size when I wear these tires out.
