Post Need Help....Thx..

Does a 18"x7 with 43 offset fit the TL running with 225 40 18..will it scratch the fender?? thx guys

That 7" wide rim is a little too narrow for a 225 tire. You should go 7.5" minimum and 43 offset is kinda low, you're taking your chances.

Ouch..... thats bad.....
does 43 offset means that the rim will go inward or what?

The ideal 18" wheel for our TLs should be 18x7.5 with a 48-52 offset, something in that offset range should be perfect for us, and 225/40/18 is a good size rubber.

Lower offsets mean the wheel moves outward which can cause fender rubbing.

according to Tann's explaination, a 18" x 7
will only need 44 of offset......is that right? can anyone confirm that?? Tann..hehe.. thx
