but im having a big problem in removing the shift area (step 19) i followed the insturctions from that site and i cant seem to pull the shift area out. I was wondering if the person missed a step in his instructions. Or do i jjust apply a shit load of force to remove?

My TL is a 2000.

 

You must have missed something. If all teh screws are out it just slides out

 

well i figured it out, it was the screws in step 18 pic #3
