Ok I failed the smog inspection because of my AEM CAI. I want to get it replaced with my stock airbox back in but I don't want to risk it so Im in need of a person who can put my stock air box back in. MUST BE IN SOCAL AREA and Im willing to drive but not too far. I live in CERRITOS, CA. I will pay of course, thanks.

 

you didnt pass? I passed with my Injen intake, what else do you have in the engine.

 

Thats all I have. He said I didn't pass because I had many holes on the filter. That is so odd.

 

er, as in physically torn holes in your filter? if that's the case, just replace the filter. I'm surprised that whoever did the smog actually took the time to get down on his knees to look at the filter.

Did you put in the AEM in the first place? i mean it doesn't really take that much time to put it in (the stock)

 

Where at in SOCAL are you located. I live in Oceanside which is like 40 minutes North of San Diego, and I travel up to the Antelope Valley almost every weekend and I pass through LA on my way there.

 

dude go somewhere else. The cai should not have made you fail. if you still dont pass after the stock air box is replaced, something is seriously wrong. If that happens, I know a guy... that can "help".
