Need Help With Salt!!
Has anyone ever had the problem of road salt, if you live in a cold enviornment, getting stuck on your interior carpet and you get that nasty white residue?
i have tried to use the blue coral dri clean spray and it works good, but maybe someone has used some product that has done a great job!
please help
thanx in advance!

My dad's car had it kinda bad last year...I first did some serious vacuuming to pick up as much salt as possible, and I used the tip to break off the salt that was stuck to the fibres. Then I used a wet cloth to wipe up whatever was left.

From: where the weather suits my clothes
Take it to a do-it-yourself car wash and hit them good with the high pressure washer. Works great.
I used a plastic ice scraper to squeeze out the excess water.
Just remember to put them somewhere warm to dry.
Oh and go out and get yourself a good set of winter mats.

well i am talking about the interior carpet of the car itself not the floormats, and i do have a set of winter mats, it's the area surrounding them that i am talking about!!
as far as floormats if they ever get to bad, i'll just buy new ones!!
