Need Help With Salt!!

Has anyone ever had the problem of road salt, if you live in a cold enviornment, getting stuck on your interior carpet and you get that nasty white residue?
i have tried to use the blue coral dri clean spray and it works good, but maybe someone has used some product that has done a great job!
please help

thanx in advance!

My dad's car had it kinda bad last year...I first did some serious vacuuming to pick up as much salt as possible, and I used the tip to break off the salt that was stuck to the fibres. Then I used a wet cloth to wipe up whatever was left.

its salt...use water and it'll help dissolve the big particles and then use a damp rag to clean it up.

Just get it detailed ...it's much easier and less time consuming. Some places will do just the interior if you ask them.

Take it to a do-it-yourself car wash and hit them good with the high pressure washer. Works great.

I used a plastic ice scraper to squeeze out the excess water.

Just remember to put them somewhere warm to dry.

Oh and go out and get yourself a good set of winter mats.
