NEED HELP with RELAY for remote power NOW!

hi guys, im trynna wire a relay to my headunit'S remote wire to power 2 fans and my amplifier. but i cant get it to work and i checked the wiring many times and everything seems okay and i really need to finish that tonight so anyone who can help me add me to your MSN or AIM list:

look at teh relay by the conectors. they should be numbered

#30 goes to the battery/12v source.
#86 goes to the trigger (remote turn on from HU)
#85 goes to the ground
#87 goes to the fans and amp turn on

Exactly as he said. There are those 5 prong relays, the middle one 87a is normally connected. Not sure if you had that one otherwise it should be numbered on the side or the bottom. If you have a harness usually black is 85, 86 white, 30 blue and 87 yellow... or at least most of the relays

that'S exactly how i had it wired and it didnt work, i guess the stock remote didnt provide enough current , so i ran a new wire from the ignition...

The relay doesnt take that much power to trigger. You want the power to come on when the headunit is on and not when the ignition is on though. Right? Take a multimeter and see if you get and power on the remote wire. Also, check to see if you hear that click when you turn the remote wire on. CHeck the ground. Maybe the 30 source for +12V isnt good.
