need help quick (deal in the works)

Anyone have any opinions on dunlop sport sp 9000's?
I believe 2 of the mods of the boards use them I forget who though. Questions:
1. Tire wear (tread life)
2. Load weight
3. Quality on wet / dry roads
4. Response
5. Road noise
If you were me would you trade some 16" 02 TL-p rims with 2 month old yokohama avid v4s tires + 200 buxs for 17" mazda millenia rims with 1 month old dunlop sp sport 9000 tires. Would you make this trade? I love my yoko's but I was planning on using the dunlops for 17 type-s rims sitting in my garage. I could care less about the mazda rims because I really just want the tires. They would be for a set of type-s rims sitting in my garage. I did a tire-rack comparison and it looks like my Yoko's are a better tire all around, but I still want tires for my type-s rims. HELP me decide!!!!

Mods I know this is a tire issue, I posted the same question in the tires forum and did not get any responses. Please leave here for a day or two, thanks...

I had them on my car a while back. At the time they were one of the better Max Performance tires on the market. Nowadays they make so many more that are equal or better in overall performance though. As for my impressions on the tires, they were definately one of my favorites for a SUMMER tire. I had them on my TL and on my Miata at the time. I remember flying down the NJ turnpike when I got stuck in my very first rainstorm in the Miata. I must have been going 80-90 and the car was on the ground with 100% contact to the roads and no hydroplaning at all. They were superior in the wet and dry, they have a nice aggressive tread pattern. I didn't put many miles on the tires, so I can't really say how good the wear is on them, throughout the time I had them on they were great!
To answer your questions:
1- Tread wear was good, but as I said above I didn't put a lot of miles on them.
2- Load weight... It depends on what size tire you want to put.. Click To see specs
3- Excellent quality on wet/dry surfaces
4- Excellent response
5- Some road noise, but what do you expect from a performance tire? Just turn the radio on and you'll be a happy camper

Hope that helped!

the good year F1GS-D3 are a far superrior tire. ive had both and they GY's yere better wet, dry and lasted longer
i havent driven a tire that was bettter in the wet as the GS-D3, they were as good as the Pilot sport in the dry (the pilot is the best dry handeling tire made) and i got over 40k out of the GS-D3. they were also quieter than the 9000
